HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

 Artist: Rakhi karmakar

India is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, spanning a period of more than 4000 years, and witnessing the fusion of several customs and traditions, which are reflective of the rich culture and heritage of the Country.

The history of the nation gives a glimpse into the magnanimity of its evolution - from a Country reeling under colonialism, to one of the leading economies in the global scenario within a span of fifty years. More than anything, the nationalistic fervour of the people is the contributing force behind the culmination of such a development. This transformation of the nation instills a sense of national pride in the heart of every Indian within the Country and abroad, and this section is a modest attempt at keeping its flame alive.

Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act 1947, which transferred legislative sovereignty to the Indian Constituent Assembly, came into effect. India retained King George VI as head of state until its transition to a full republic, and the Constitution of India 1950 replaced the dominion prefix, Dominion of India, with the enactment of the sovereign law Constitution of India. India attained independence following the Independence Movement noted for largely non-violent resistance and civil disobedience. Independence Day marks the end of British rule in 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian nation. It also marks the anniversary of the partition of the subcontinent into two countries, India and Pakistan, which occurred at midnight on August 14–15, 1947. On 15 August, 1947, the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. On each subsequent Independence Day, the incumbent Prime Minister customarily raises the flag and gives an address to the nation.  The entire event is broadcast by Doordarshan, India's national broadcaster, and usually begins with the shehnai music of Ustad Bismillah Khan.

Independence Day is observed throughout India with flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades and cultural events. It is a national holiday.

The National flag of India is a horizontal tricolor of deep saffron (kesari) at the top, white in the middle and dark green at the bottom in equal proportion. The ratio of width of the flag to its length is two to three. In the centre of the white band is a navy blue wheel which represents the chakra. Its design is that of the wheel which appears on the abacus of the Sarnath Lion Capital of Ashoka. Its diameter approximates to the width of the white band and it has 24 spokes.

Style = personality

Artist: Pratibha kumari

A piece of fabric cannot define the style or girl's character. You can define a girl on the basis of her nature, her character, the way she sees the world. Women are always judged on the basis of her dress but is not something that would stop her from wearing what she want to. Character is a summation of the consistent behaviour of a person, and is not related to attire. Attire just reflects the taste and personality. If you are a boy, you should avoid judging the girls character or style based on her clothes. People choose their clothing for reason that are only known to them. And just because we dont understand those reason, we should at least abstain from judging their character based on their clothing choices.
No matter where a girl is , whether it is the class, at work or even at the club, there is always someone who has something to say about the dressing of the girl. Girls are always defined by people on the basis of what she is wearing, rather people should look for her nature. But for centuries, women's clothing has been held up to demanding, ridiculous standards. If a girl is happy and comfortable in what she wearing you are no one to judge her.
Why can't people change their mindsets that if a girl is wearing something, there is nothing to do with their life. The only thing that can define a girl is her nature, character and the way she sees the world ie. her perspective.

ENLIGHTENMENT OF THE BUDDHA

Artist : khushi chandra

Gautam Buddha was a contemporary of Mahavira. Gautam Buddha's royal name was Suddhartha. He was the son of Suddhodhana, the Chies of Sakya clan of Kapilvastu in the Nepal Tarai Area. He was born in 566 B.C. in the village of Lumbini a fee miles from Kapilvastu. He spent most of his time meditating over the various human problems. He concentrated on problems of birth, old age, sickness, sorrow and impurity. He gave up penance and took bowl of milk offered to him by village girl. He then sat under pipal tree and said " Let my skin, my nerves and bones waste away, let my life hood dry up, I will not leave this posture until I have perfect attainment."
He remained in meditation for seven days and seven nights and was ultimately enlightened on the eight day. On the day of enlightenment he came to known as Buddha or Tathagat. Siddhartha discovered the Law of Causation, a cycle of twelve causes and effects conditioning the universe. This Law had not been thought of by any philosopher before him.

After his enlightenment Gautama decided to preach the knowledge to the people for their benefits. First of all, he went to Banaras and Sarnath which were great centres of learning in those days. At Sarnath he preached to the five Monks who had left in despair. These five Monks were greatly impressed by his teachings and became his disciples again. Thus, the foundation of the Buddha Sangha was laid. Then Buddha visited Rajgriha, where he was accorded a warm welcome by the King Bimbsara. From here he moved to Saravasti, the capital of Kosala. At kosala, King Prasenjit became his disciple. Then Gautam proceeded to Kapilvastu where large number of people became his disciples, including his wife, Yashodhara and his son Rahul. Buddha concentrated his activities in Magadha and preached his message to a large number of people.
The other places where his message was received with great admiration were Kashi, Kosala, Vajji, Avanti etc. Buddha continued to preach hi message till his death in 487 B.C. His last words were " Now, Monks I have nothing more to tell you but that all that is composed is liable to decay, strive after salvation energetically."

Mythical krishna

“There have been very few who have been able to rejoice both in victory and in defeat,“Sri Krishna is one who celebrated both life and death. That is why he was always able to give a big smile. He took birth with a smile on his face, lived with a smile, and left his body with a smile. The message that he conveyed through his life is that we should make life full of laughter.”
“Throughout his life, Lord Krishna had to face different crises that arose like waves, one after the other. Even then, not once was his countenance clouded by sorrow. He faced every difficulty under the sun, but there was no place for sorrow in Sri Krishna’s presence. He was the embodiment of bliss. In his company everyone rejoiced, forgetting all else. In his presence they tasted the bliss of the Self. Even now, after all this time, doesn’t the mere thought of him fill us with bliss?”

“Lord Krishna’s teachings are suitable for everyone,“He didn’t come just for the sake of a particular section of society. He showed everyone—even prostitutes, robbers and murderers—the path toward spiritual progress. He urges us to live according to our true dharma, to remain steadfast in it, and thus advance in life toward the ultimate goal.”

Lord Krishna left his physical form at 125 at the hands of a hunter. But he died as he was born and as he lived—with a beatific smile upon his face. In fact it is said that his final act was to bless the hunter who had accidentally shot him. Such was his love.

The famous line of krishna
" there is three gate to the self-destructive hell:
Lust , Anger and Greed".

Eye Catching artistic peacock

The peacock is a possessor of some of the most admired human characteristics, and is a symbol of integrity  and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colors.

In history, myth, legend , the peacock symbolism carries portents of: Nobility, Holiness, Guidance, Protection and Watchfulness.

Contemplate the powers of the peacock when you need more vibrancy and vitality in your experience. The peacock can also help you on your spiritual Path, and breath new life into your walk of faith.

The peacock can rejuvenate self-esteem levels too. If you’re feeling “blah” and blue, imagine the glorious, techno-color display the peacock provides. This puts us in a proper mood to embrace your own nobility. In no time, you’ll be walking tall and proud as a peacock too!

The famous line said by john ruskin.

“The purest and most thoughtful     minds are those which love color
 the most.”

In Greco-Roman mythology the peacock is identified with Hera (Juno) who created the peacock from Argus whose hundred eyes (seen on the tail feathers of the peacock) symbolize the vault of heaven and the eyes of the stars.

In Hinduism the peacock is associated with Lakshmi who is a deity representing benevolence, patience, kindness, compassion and good luck.

Similar to Lakshmi, the peacock is associated with Kwan-yin in Asian spirituality. Kwan-yin (or Quan Yin) is also an emblem of love, compassionate watchfulness, good-will, nurturing, and kind-heartedness. Legend tells us she chose to remain a mortal even though she could be immortal because she wished to stay behind and aid humanity in their spiritual evolution.

In Babylonia and Persia the peacock is seen as a guardian to royalty, and is often seen in engravings upon the thrones of royalty.

In Christianity the peacock symbolism represents the “all-seeing” church, along with the holiness and sanctity associated with it. Additionally, the peacock represents resurrection, renewal and immortality within the spiritual teachings of Christianity.

The phoenix, the alchemy peacock can remind us that we can rise out of our darkest moments. It’s a metaphor that speaks about dying to the ego-self, and being reborn into a new life of awareness, spirituality and illumination.Of course, the ego isn’t a bad thing, as the peacock clearly indicates. There’s a reason somebody cooked up that phrase, “proud as a peacock”. If you watch a male – they are about as cocky as they come. It’s all about showing off and wooing the ladies. It takes a lot of brass to attract a bevy of beautiful peahens. This is a symbolic nod to us encouraging us to get some hustle in our bustle. Peacock reminds us sometimes it’s totally okay to flaunt our stuff and show off our skills. This is particularly true in situations when we want to gain attention for our betterment. Peacock energy can remind us we are amazing, and we should fan out our assets to land the opportunities we are seeking.

FACE IS THE INDEX OF MIND

Sketch , traditionally a rough drawing or painting in which an artist note down his preliminary ideas for a work that will eventually be realized with greater precision and detail . The term also applies to brief creative pieces that per see may have artistic merit .
In traditional sketch , the emphasis usually is laid on the general design and composition of the work and on overall feeling . Such a sketch is often intended for the artist's own guidance. there are three main types of functional sketch . The first- sometimes known as croquis - is intended to remind the artist of some scene or event he has seen and wishes to make it on paper for permanent record . The second- a pochade - is one in which he records, usually in colour , the atmospheric effects and general impression of a landscape. The third- portraiture related - notes the look on face , the head , or other physical characteristics of a prospective sitter.

The mind of every women is more creative than man . A women can handle both home and external work easily is proven by many of our countries women . The intention behind making this drawing is to just describe the creativity of a women's mind .

The face is the mirror of what we think while drawing this picture, came in mind about the different facial expression a person can show at different situation . People cry during sad or happiness both but the differences can be easily made by seeing eyelashes , eyebrows and lips there way of changing .God has gifted us all with a unique face to be distinguished and known by our own personality .God created us all by same felling therefore according to me we are no one to tag anyone good or bad by face every person display its beauty by its heart, thoughts and activity. This was my intention behind making this drawing if you liked it please follow and share.

THE MAKING OF FACE DRAWING STEPS :

1.Drawing a Cartoon Girl's Face

Draw an oval that's narrower at the bottom and divide it into 4 sections.  Avoid making 4 section if you are making a half face as like this picture and also straight lines since cartoon girls usually have round faces . Then draw a vertical line that curves upward slightly below the halfway point on the vertical line.
The section at the top of the oval should be bigger than the sections at the bottom.

2. Draw a small nose near the center of the oval
Cartoon girls are typically drawn with simple, rounded nose . Don't make the nose rigid or defined it could look too masculine. To draw nose , start with your pencil at the point where the vertical and horizontal line intersect .
3. Draw bug, exaggerated eyes on top of the horizontal line
Make the eyes large and exaggerated so they look more cartoonish and feminine . The outer corner of eye should be touching the edge of the face .
Give the eyes an almond shape that's flatter on the bottom and rounded on top .
4. Add dark eyelashes to the top and bottom of the eyes
Cartoon girls are often drawn with dark ,eyelashes. so go over the lash lines with your pencil to darken them .
5. Draw big pupil inside of the eyes
Draw a large circle in each eyes so top of the circles are slightly eclipsed by the top of the eyes. Then x in the center of each circle , draw a small circle and shade in it . Finally shade in the large circles so they're slightly lighter than the pupils, leave some white space in upper right corner of each circle so it looks like light is reflecting off of them.

6. Draw lips
Draw a horizontal line with slightly pick at
the center of the face . Draw ups and down of leave evenly at both side of face .
When you're finished , you should have a large , rounded lower lip, which will help the cartoon face look more feminine.
Finally add thin arched eyebrows and ears with earrings on the sides of the head so as to make it more attractive.
7. Draw hair
Hair can be drawn as per ones choice as in this picture it is made blended instead of open hair .
if you'r drawing long long hair, you can draw it tucked behind the ears and leave the ear as they are.

Thank you hope you like it . Please contact me on gmail if you are interested in painting and knowing further queries .

FEELING OF DANCE

DANCE + DESIGNING

Cloth designing attaching with a means of art 'dance' . Dance is means to communicate your emotion without really saying anything much. Since i was in 8th grade my passion was to become a fashion designer well which got changed as most of us have changed our dream as per situations demand , so while a day thinking about what to make today strike my mind about combining both design and dance.
India has a long cherished dance as an integral part of their culture and various celebrations , and this includes several classical dance forms . Each one takes its roots from a different region of the nation, as oftentimes the dances themselves tell a story or commemorate an ideal of the people. In fact, much of Indian dance can be considered not only to be choreography , but drama as well . Acting is an important part of India's dance tradition, and you will find the performance to often be very animated and able to convey messages even with an absence of speech.
Designing is another art form found in India adversely in ancient periods from the times of Mahabharat till date going on . The world famous designer still works on ancient design to promote Indian culture and so i took initiative to spread some Indian culture through this sketch.

Started the sketch firstly by drawing the body sketch need to be cared in both the picture is first drawing is back view while the second is of front view so the body structure making will be different from each other followed by the dress outline curves and finally filling up design in dress .The design in dress can be of any one's choice .As i choose to fill the design with some mixture of mehndi design with some kundant design is first drawing while the second drawing to give mixture of  modern style with  the design of culture.

ENLIGHTENING EYE

"THE EYES ARE THE WINDOW TO SOUL"
Few windows could outdo our own viem. No better vantage nor imprint on mind than that derived from open focused eye and unculttered sight line .
Eyes broadcast emotions. A person might be able to hide a smirk or pout behind a hand , but the micro-movements of the eyes, eyelids and brows will usually reveal the truth behind an emotionless face .
We females hide our face behind the veil according to our methology,
but our eyes are so bold that they burn away the clothing so frail,
our eyes speak words of mercy and an innocent recklessness.

This is a painting which speaks a lot about a human , i had made it using simple pen colours . Hope you like it.

NATURE'S FINEST ART

FLOWERS , While walking distant from my garden , flowers always attract me towards them by its beauty and aroma . Seen from the distance , they are fuzzy clouds tinged with light pink, spilling fluffs of petals into the winds . a stray whiff of their aroma swims over and steals its way into my nostrils. the fragrance is not pungent and penetrating as humans nature .
While watching these flower in my garden i find myself sliding , if not floating near the peach grove where the aroma sheds subtlety and nuances and gains sweetness and intensity . Melting the material world around me , it sends me right into the world of beauty and aroma in every persons heart.
They are the who never discriminate among people who can smell them and who can touch them this has to be the most attracting nature of flower which attracts me .

Fresh white flowers are most closely associated with purity and innocence . The delicate white blossoms represent HONESTY , PURITY , and PERFECTION . White flowers are ideal when you are looking to communicate that wonderful combination of elegance and  innocence . For many , white flower like this picture one is perfect bridal flower . these flowers communicate pure, thoughtful love and undying fidelity .
PAINTING PROCESS
I drew this picture first with pencil an then further continued with poster colour. firstly painted all the flowers with white paint and leaves branches with light green colour using gray , lemon yellow and light green colour further finished the flower part, and went in leaf and branch part with dark green and yellow and hence completed the painting by making background black because dark colour can make the white colour flower shine on it as well as white and black contrasting is know to the best match . Hope u like the thought of painting and i am clear in the ways my brush talked while painting .

The same way of making was followed by this painting firstly the background was painted by using blue and white combination scattered at different place around the jar white is completely so that blue colour of jar as well as background do not get mixed white will help jar to reflect its personality . further flowers were painted with white with shades of navy blue and branches green with shade of dark green there are some spoted flower made to make pictures more attracting and blooming .

If one could capture and concentrate the sun , the result would be bright , luminous orange flower .orange flower offer happiness and joy  . To look upon a fresh orange flower is to immediately feel the warmth of LOVE . It also sends the message of ADVENTURE. Imagine the felling of waking up without any responsibilities on  a beautiful and warm weekend day . The possibilities are endless . This offer of adventure and spontaneity is included with each radiant orange flower arrangement .

Add caption

ROSES Sign of love . The painting consist three different colour roses making a bouquet , to experience pure emotions. combining the purity and innocence of yellow, pink and red flowers send a signal of harmony and excitement . Together, these flower colours transcend their original meanings and offer a promise of adventure wrapped in elegance .
The beauty of flowers in a bouquet increases 100 times than it is alone their beauty as well as aroma increases similarly when all human live together and live for each other the environment will shows its beauty and we can make a peaceful world .
Steps for drawing this painting took by me are firstly filled the roses with particular colours and shade them with darker colour of same .leaves and branches are to me made by shading with green mix with black and use some yellow shade to show light coming from opposite side finally i decided to keep the background white because painting was dark shaded still i thought to give a light colour shade around painting so as to make it more.
Hope you liked my way of describing .

LORD BUDDHA SKETCH

LORD BUDDHA , THE LIGHT OF ASIA, WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST MEN OF ALL TIMES. GREAT WAS HIS TEACHING , THOUGHT OF SPREADING PEACE ALL OVER WORLD.

The recent out break of coronavirus has created a panic environment . Everybody is cautious and is following preventive measures therefore in my mind came lord buddha and his unforgettable words,
"HEALTH IS THE GREATEST GIFT , NEED TO BE PRESERVED MORE THAN MONEY"
The world is full of suffering, the origin of suffering is desire and attachment . The desire is of human is the weapon which can destroy the whole universe ,thats what is going today in world . We humans were destroying nature for our desires to be fulfilled .Lord buddha always walked on the path of peace and meditation . the close eyes of lord in this picture describes the meditation . Meditation in human can bring enormous power inside human which makes the immune system enormously strong . there are round ringlet curls on buddha's head they are actually 108 dried snail  these snail were passing way when in hot summer buddha was in meditation and rays were falling on his head .the snail went up on head and sat there so that his meditation does not get distracted and hence gave there life for Buddha's Path of Enlightenment . The sacrifice of snails are always to be remembered therefore it is drawn in statue and pictures those snail on head of lord buddha.
During this pandemic coronavirus affect sitting in home can do some meditation so as to make our immune system strong . after every dark night there is a bright morning, with hope of it we all are waiting for bright morning .

BRUSH SPEAKING

NOT EVERY ONE CAN MAKE ART! But most of us can feel and see beauty of art . I am creating this blog to share how my thoughts are being spoke by brush in my hand. Painting is not just what you make on a paper its all about what my mind thinks and do .

PEN SKETCHES

And here comes the first pen art , I choose this
to be the first panting to upload because its meaning came from our origin and thats from were we got  inherited and life cycles goes on. The idea was just to convey the message how we have been evolved by nature . How human and nature life cycle are dependent on each other . When humans die the ashes after million years forms the fertilizers which help the flora and fauna of nature to bloom. Hence same flora and fauna are used by pre existing human to consume and survive in environment and make themselves selective by nature . The human and environment are the two wheels of cycle, if one gets damage the whole cycle gets destroyed . There is always a fine line between nature and human which is to be maintained by us so as the let the cycle work smoothly . My thoughts are being reflected by this pen drawing .
The art is drawn firstly by pencil by simple sketch and finally gave texture from black pen you can choose the colour of your pen upon your taste. Half portion of the face is the skul of human which is to be made a darker part and the other part is the floral part which is to be made including leaves, branches ,flowers and butterflies. Hope you like this .Thanks for giving your precious time reading it.
